SA/NT Chapter Connects in Adelaide for Networking and Industry Conversation

Recently Members of the IMC SA/NT Chapter gathered in North Adelaide for an evening of networking and industry conversation, as well as an opportunity to welcome several new members to the community.

The event was hosted by long-standing IMC member and CMC Steve Ibbotson, with Board Director Tim Millar and Chapter President Dan Hadley also in attendance. Over food and drinks at the Caledonian Hotel in North Adelaide, Members shared perspectives on emerging trends in management consulting and the growing excitement around this year’s IMC National Conference.

A highlight of the evening was the latest instalment of the Chapter’s ‘Interview a Management Consultant’ series. During the session, Dan Hadley interviewed Amy Hollister, who has made an impressive transition into management consulting and auditing over the past five years. Amy shared insights into the connections between external auditing and the management consulting process, as well as her own journey from working within organisations to becoming a consultant. She also discussed her recent appointment as Lead Auditor at Compass Assurance and her move into external auditing. The conversation provided valuable insights into career pathways within the profession and sparked thoughtful discussion among attendees.
