
The CMC-Global ISO 20700:2017 Self-Declaration Checklist provides a value-added service offering for management consultants who will be authorised and recognised as able to self-declare their projects with their clients to be ISO 20700 compliant by an independently recognised authority.
Overview
AS ISO 20700:2025 is the Australian equivalent of the globally recognised ISO 20700:2017 standard for transparent, high-quality management consulting. Earning this credential demonstrates your commitment to best-practice consulting, builds client trust, and gives you a competitive edge, helping you deliver projects that meet international expectations and inspire confidence.
This course is suitable if:

Completion of ISO 20700:2017 Self-Declaration Checklist training is a requirement for your application to become a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
The program is structured around five self-paced modules and one facilitated discussion session. You will learn to:
Designed for consultants in Australia and New Zealand, the course blends flexible online learning with real-world application - empowering you to excel in today’s dynamic consulting environment.
Course format
There are three options for completing the course.
Self-Paced Learning: You work through the eLearning modules independently, then book your trainer session after Module 4.
Cohort-Based Learning: You start with a group at the beginning of a month, participate in forum discussions, and learn alongside peers and your trainer.
Organisation Cohort: Your company enrols you in a group (minimum five consultants) for a dedicated course, with options for self-paced or cohort-based learning exclusive to your team.
To complete the training, participants must also attend a scheduled 90-minute facilitated discussion session with an accredited trainer via Zoom. These sessions are held monthly, so if you miss one, you’ll need to book into the next available date.
