SPECIAL EVENT SERIES - ‘THEORY OF CONSTRAINTS’ with Lewis Trigger, international expert in Constraint Innovation.
Part 2. Online Workshop: What can TOC Do For Me?
Wednesday, 20th July 2022 | 1:00 PM - 3.30 PM AEST
Most people hate constraints and bottlenecks. Lewis presents a complete turnaround in how we treat our constraints!
Sitting in the inevitable Traffic Jam on my drive to the beach over Christmas, my mind searched for ways to overcome the queue. Should I have left earlier? Should I have gone on the backroads? Should I have gone by motorbike?
Three hours crawling and 30mins on the beach later, I did it all again on the way home. But this time I applied some ‘constraint Innovation’ to my thoughts.
If you have ever read ‘The Goal’ by Eliyahu M. Goldratt, you will know about the ‘Theory of Constraints’ (TOC). And you will also have an idea that it can significantly help your business.
Lewis takes TOC and shows us how to value our constraints by leveraging them – to look after them, to protect them from nasty surprises, and so enable us to deliver consistently better results from the resources we already have. Through Lewis’s powerful and practical workshops you will internalise the techniques of managing your constraints to optimise outcomes.

Lewis Trigger, Founder & Principal, Lewis Trigger Consultants and Management Ltd
Lewis was first introduced to the Theory of Constraints (ToC) over 25 years ago by its founder Dr. Eli Goldratt. After studying with Eli, he came to realise that there were vast untapped resources still sitting in organisations waiting to be harnessed; and so began his journey of Constraint Innovation.
Lewis Trigger is a recognised international expert in Constraint Innovation. Australian-born, Israel resident, Lewis is an industrial engineer (MBA, MSc, PMP), with over 25 years of experience in applying Theory of Constraints (TOC) within the Israeli military’s maintenance; engineering, and logistics systems, within government and private industry.
It is his goal to guide a “Change in mindset” about how we view and utilise the resources at our disposal, regardless of the organisation’s vision, industry, or location. Lewis is passionate about the results that this way of thinking achieves and the changes it has on people's perception of reality.
Lewis has shared his expertise through his workshops to many leading Australian organisations such as Rio Tinto, Newcrest Mining, Iluka Resources, Schweppes / Asahi, Visy, Arnott’s, The Australian Submarine Corporation, The Adelaide Health Service, Government agencies at a Federal, State, and Local level. He has also been active in the Indian market.
