Dr Alan Blackman PhD MIMC (Emeritus) CMC-AF: Collaboration by Sharing IP to Create New IP
Now retired, Alan was, until the end of 2018, an Associate Professor and Director of Griffith Business School’s Work Integrated Learning programme. Shortly after he took up a two-year economic development role within local government.
Alan has more than forty years of experience in the military, frontline healthcare, business management, consulting, research, and tertiary education and is recognised as an expert in the formulation and implementation of corporate and functional strategies in business planning and the development of industry and business performance benchmarks in a wide array of industries.
In 2014, Alan was made an Academic Fellow of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) and was recently appointed as IMC Australia’s delegate to that body. He is writing a text on professional consulting for the IMC, which he hopes to have published in 2022.
