We are living in extraordinary times with significant challenges for businesses of all shapes and sizes. I want to ensure our members that the IMC Board is focussed on supporting you in your consulting practices as we face these challenges together. We are committed to delivering a range of high-quality online professional development activieis, increasing the range of Member Benefits to you our members, and maintaining a regular communication channel with you to not only keep you up to date but provide a forum for you to let us know what is on your mind and how we can better support you.

We now also have a Members’ Noticeboard available on our Home Page as a central for members to share information that they feel may be useful and of interest to other members. We receive lots of suggestions from you all and rather than fill up your inbox with newsletters and emails, we have created this page as a central repository for these ideas and suggestions such as:

  • Links to resources or events
  • Programs and courses
  • Virtual networking events.

If you have information to share with your IMC colleagues, please forward it to the Executive Officer at eo@imc.org.au . I encourage you to bookmark the page and check back regularly to get updates.

COVID-19 Resource Page

A COVID-19 Resources page has been set up on our website to provide you with all the important links to government support packages both national and in the various States and Territories. Links to the important information you need at this time of crisis for yourself and your clients.

New Member Benefits

We are delighted to advise that we have an exciting new online self-paced program called Innovation Sprint that is available to members at a 20% discount from Chase Consulting and is accessible through our Member Benefits page. We believe this program will be an enormous boon if you are looking to develop and create new opportunities. Our Member Benefits card will soon be coming its way to you. The new version of our Membership Card will provide access to a wide range of cashback arrangements that we have negotiated through partner organisations. In preparation, please login to the Member Portal and ensure that your contact details including postal address are up to date.

Now is a good time to catch up on your reading so check out the EBSCO Research Database on the Member Benefits page of the website. EBSCO provides members with access to millions of full-text articles from the world’s leading business journals and books, as well as hundreds of business book reviews. Management, human resources, marketing, leadership and change management are some of the key subject areas covered. EBSCO also enables you to set up email alerts and access content from your iPhone or iPad.

It is also important to keep your finger on the pulse regarding new work opportunities so if you have not yet checked out the IMC-Serve-Gate Agreement which provides access to work requests from government agencies and large corporates, now is the time to do this. Stay Connected

We are always working to improve ways in which our website can provide an effective hub for members to access resources and information about the Institute, connect with other colleagues via the 'Find A Consultant' directory, and connect in to the management consulting community both in Australia and overseas. Over the coming months we will be refreshing and updating the website to ensure it provides the best user experience for our members. We will keep you posted as things progress.
