What's Happening at IMC? - 2021 April Edition

We are well into 2021 and as we head into Easter which I am sure will be a welcome break for all, we also hope that business is steadily picking up despite the intermittent short lockdowns that still seem to be with us! So, here are some of the forthcoming IMC events over the next few months ….

IMC’s Webinar Program kicks off … plan your PD for the year!

Our regular webinar program kicks off with a webinar on 31 March from one of IMC’s new partners, Deltek, bringing a perspective from a range of other consulting disciplines and professions about customer focus strategies they plan to implement in order to rebuild revenue.

We are sure this will stimulate our own thinking as to the strategies that will apply to us as management consulting professionals and help our clients.  It’s not too late to register … click here!

ISO 20700 Self-Declaration Checklist training – don’t get left behind! Register now!

ISO 20700 Self-Declaration Checklist training is now in full swing! Have you registered to secure your place? Courses are scheduled throughout the year but are filling quickly.

The Checklist has been designed and developed by CMC-Global (ICMCI) as a practical and easy to use tool to demonstrate to your current and prospective clients that your processes conform with the Standard.

Purchasers of Management Consulting Services will soon be expecting and demanding that their service providers conform to the Standard so now is the ideal time to get ahead of the game and the competition.

Successful completion of the training not only provides you with the exclusive Self-Declaration Checklist template to use in your own practice, but also awards the logo that allows you to electronically ‘stamp’ your project documentation as conforming to the Standard. Click here to go to our Events page and register for the training.

IMC NZ Interactive Forum on NZ All of Government (AoG) Consultancy Panel – open to consultants from NZ and Australia

Our colleagues across the Tasman, IMC NZ, are hosting this interactive forum on Thursday 15 April 2021 at 3pm AEST (5pm Wellington time) and invite all interested IMC members to attend.

The AoG panel is open to consultants from New Zealand and Australia and the session will include consultants with extensive experience working through the Panel discussing their experiences and sharing tips and insights on how to gain the most value from being on a Panel.

They will be joined by Mark Johnson, Senior Procurement Specialist, New Zealand Government Procurement, to share MBIE’s view and the aims of the refresh which will be followed by an extensive Q&A session. If you are wondering about Panels and how they work, or are registered and not getting the results you had hoped, then join in the discussion! Click here to register.

CMC – The Gold Standard … April’s informative webinar on how to apply and lift your competitive advantage

Certified Management Consultant (CMC) status is the ‘gold standard’ in management consulting. The CMC designation is an internationally-recognised certification that indicates that the consultant has reached the pinnacle of his or her profession.

The Certification is based on demonstrating personal competence against international and world class standards of competence, ethics and independence.
The designation is recognised in 50 countries around the world and is required in some countries in order to undertake management consulting projects. Christine Cox, Executive Officer and CMC Assessor for IMC Australia, will explain what the CMC designation is, how it can benefit you and your practice, and how to apply. Click here to register.
