Welcome to the first regular update from IMC for 2021! No doubt the holiday break is a distant memory and whilst not much appears to have changed from 2020, we hope that business for many is ramping up as the year gets into full swing. So, we would like to update you on the forthcoming IMC events over the next few months...

IMC’s Start Up Series – for aspiring and new management consultants kicks off on 24 February … there is still time to register!
Are you considering a career as a management consultant? Have you recently set up your management consultancy practice? If so, IMC's Start Up Series of 5 interactive and information-packed online workshops just might be for you.

The series is delivered by IMC Board Director, Steve Ibbotson FIMC CMC and is designed to assist you to decide whether to start your own management consulting business, join an established agency or highlight areas for further development of your fledgling business. ISO 20700:2017 Guidelines for Management Consulting Services – a world first
ISO 20700:2017 Guidelines for Management Consultancy Services is the first International Standard of its kind and ensures a consistent minimum quality in the provision of a service and transparency between the consultant and client.

To assist consultants to demonstrate compliance with the Standard, CMC-Global (ICMCI) has also developed the ISO 20700 Self-Declaration Checklist and has accredited IMC Australia to deliver training to all Australian and New Zealand management consultants. Chapter Events

Our local IMC Chapters are looking forward to scheduling more in-person and blended events to allow local members to network and get to know each other.

Queensland Forum is our first Chapter event for 2021 on 25 February 2021.

Queensland Chapter Members can learn about ISO 20700, how to access and benefit from IMC’s arrangements with ServeGate for consulting opportunities, and learn first hand about Australia’s only formal qualification in consulting, the Diploma of Consultancy, from Tony Simmonds, Director of ITS Pty Ltd, the RTO delivering the Diploma.
