The IMC Australia Asia Pacific Conference 2026 has officially concluded, following an outstanding program of discussion, debate and connection centred around the future of consulting in an increasingly AI-enabled world.

Held on the Gold Coast, the conference brought together an exceptional mix of consultants, business leaders, academics and industry professionals from across Australia and internationally, including delegates and contributors from the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mongolia.

Across the program, speakers explored some of the defining questions facing the profession today - from AI, ethics and trust through to leadership, complexity, workplace transformation and the enduring importance of human judgment.

Keynote sessions from Jules Yim and Professor David Snowden challenged attendees to think more deeply about human reasoning, tacit knowledge, sense-making and the role consultants will continue to play in complex environments shaped by rapidly evolving technology.

Beyond the formal program, one of the strongest themes throughout the conference was the value of being in the room. Conversations between sessions, audience discussions and networking opportunities created meaningful exchanges of ideas and perspectives that continued well beyond the stage.

ICMCI Chair Nick Warn described the conference as "thoroughly impressive" and praised the calibre of speakers and discussions across the entire day, also recognising IMC Australia as "a role model" for member institutes across ICMCI.

IMC Australia extends its sincere thanks to all speakers, sponsors, partners and attendees who contributed their expertise, insight and energy to making the conference such a success.
